A "Staycation"

"Beware the Ides of March"....Hello Everyone! Sorry I haven't written in so long. I had a busy fall/winter and I can't believe we find ourselves at the threshold of spring. With snow still on the ground in so many places, and cool temperatures, I must admit that even though I'm a mannequin head, I suffer from what they call the "winter doldrums", or more officially "SAD". Yes, I get sad, brought on by the season. When will the sun come out again?

Over time, I've developed a few techniques to help me battle this affliction. My favorite solution is to get under a sun lamp, get a huge box of cheap white wine, glam myself up with a scarf and smart pair of sunglasses, and just relax. I usually put on reggae music, or upbeat 80's dance tunes. Then I just bask in the fake sunlight and feel that Franzia buzz.
